This is Xinzuo’s first series of their own formula of Tricolour Damascus Steel knives. The 36 layers on each side consist of stainless steel, brass, and purple copper, creating an exquisite pattern with interwoven colors.
The center core is made from their own proprietary 12Cr18MoV. This new steel formula was developed to improve on the widely used 10Cr15CoMoV to make their blades hard, not brittle, sharper, and more durable.
The classic Japanese octagonal handle design incorporates novelty into a traditional classic, breaking the stereotypical image of traditional octagonal handle kitchen knives.
The middle part uses desert ironwood and is capped with black G10. After many steps of hand polishing, the handle has a delicate texture and a comfortable grip.
